I publish practical guides for students and early-career readers who are filling forms at night — scholarships, skills, study routes, and the first years of work. The site is a reading desk. It is not a consultancy, a visa shop, or a job board.
Editorial policy
When a page names a programme, it also points at the official source: HEC, DAAD, Chevening, GOV.UK, USEFP, and similar. If this site and that page disagree, trust the official page. Dates move. I would rather send you there than invent a deadline.
Every guide shows the date it was published. Guides are updated when official rules or dates change, and confirmed errors are corrected on the page.
Background
I write from the perspective of someone who has spent years following application routes, hiring screens, and official programme pages — not as a licensed immigration adviser or recruiter. Guides that touch visas or scholarships always link to the body that owns the rule. Corrections are welcome by email.
What I will not do here
- Promise a visa, a scholarship, or a job.
- Sell a “processing fee” or an agent package.
- Publish a guide that cannot be checked against a public source.
How a guide is written
A page starts from a task a reader actually has: a form, a test, a first job, or a document that has to be in the right order. I read the public page that owns the rule, then write the steps in the order you would do them, with the names of the portals you will see. Where I am unsure, the guide says so and points at the official page instead of filling the gap with a round number. I do not invent acceptance rates, salaries, or traffic figures to make a page look busier.
The date on a guide is the publication date, and the page is edited when a rule or a deadline changes. An edit does not mean every sentence was rewritten that day. If you need the current rule, open the official link in the same sitting. When a reader sends a correction with that link, I check it and update the page. That is the whole review process. There is no separate fact-checking department.
Advertising and independence
The site may show third-party ads, including Google ads, so the writing can stay free to read. Ads are not commissioned by me and they are not the guide. A university, a scholarship office, or an employer does not pay for a mention, and a mention is not an endorsement from them. If that ever changes for a specific page, the page will say so in plain text. Cookie choices are explained on the cookie notice.
How to use the site
Start with a category, open the official link in the article, then keep your own file. Useful starting points: the scholarship map, Germany / DAAD, and UK sponsor checks.
